‘Reaper’s Valarie Rae Miller Guests on ‘Life’
February 24, 2009 by Chandra
I was checking out upcoming episodes for Life, one of my current favorite television series, when I happened upon the photo above. According to the NBC caption, that woman looking snazzy while lounging poolside in a blue bathing suit is Reaper’s very own Valarie Rae Miller, also known as Josie. She’ll be appearing on the cop dramedy Wednesday, March 11.
During the episode called “Shelf Life,” Detective Charlie Crews (Damian Lewis) and his pre-prison partner Officer Bobby Stark (Brent Sexton) investigate a murder involving a soldier stabbed to death while on leave in Los Angeles.

‘Reaper’ Promo Alert: Getting Back in the Groove
January 10, 2009 by Chandra
The CW has just released a new promo clip for Reaper, and all I have to say is, “It’s about %$#&in’ time!”
Clocking in at a measly 21 seconds, the video still manages to give fans a taste of what’s coming up — boozing, boxing, and frying-pan fights, from the look of it — as well as confirm the previously publicized Tuesday, March 17 second-season premiere date.
Episodes will air at 9pm EST, and there are a total of thirteen ordered. Now, take a look at the super-short “Beatbox” promo below and get excited for the demon-hunting days ahead.

March Return for ‘Reaper’
December 2, 2008 by Chandra
Bummer. It looks like we Reaper fans are going to have to wait all the way until the middle of March next year before we can get another Devil fix.
Entertainment Weekly reports that The CW’s fun paranormal dramedy will make its sophomore-season debut at 9pm EST on Tuesday, March 17. That far, far away time slot means the show will air right after freshman hit 90210, a series I don’t think Reaper could be less compatible with. What’s up with that?
In any case, Privileged fans should know that by the time Reaper (finally!) rolls around, the rookie …read more
Reaper: Season Finale ‘Cancun’ Preview
May 20, 2008 by Chandra
Well, we’ve come to the end of the first season, girls and boys, just recently assured that Reaper will return for a second albeit shorter run. Maybe things will change and the ratings will improve now that there’s been so much buzz about the show after its darn near miraculous renewal.
Tonight’s season-finale is “Cancun,” on which Sock gets the hots for a demon (Guest Star Cindy Sampson), while Sam becomes the target of other demons out to destroy the threat he may or may not pose.
Check out a quick preview for the episode after the jump. It’s all …read more
‘Reaper’ Second-Season Renewal Means More Devil Time
May 12, 2008 by Chandra
There’s excellent news breaking today, Reaper fans! The CW has renewed the series for a second season, albeit as a midseason replacement with just 13 episodes.
A 22-episode full season would have been much more to my preference, of course. But the way things have been going following the writers’ strike, I’m definitely not complaining, especially since the word is that The CW will probably pair the show with Supernatural after Smallville completes its run. That’s a commendable programming move that could help both shows, each underappreciated by mainstream viewers, acquire/retain fans.
Congratulations to the fabulous cast and crew …read more
Pause to Applaud: ‘Reaper’ Expected to Get a Second Season!
Hot on the heels of the utterly depressing news that Aliens in America will be no more following its May 18th freshman-season finale comes spectacular gossip from the opposite end of the Sucks Spectrum.
Multiple sources, such as at TV Guide and E! Online, have revealed within the last day that their inside sources confirm Reaper will get a sophomore run, to be officially announced at The CW’s upfront presentation in New York this Tuesday.
So, now I’m confused. Do I hate the fledgling network for canceling Aliens or do I love it for renewing Reaper? I think I’ll try …read more
Reaper: 1.16 ‘Greg, Schmeg’ Previews
May 5, 2008 by Chandra
On Greg, Schmeg, the May 6 episode of Reaper, Andy’s ex-boyfriend Greg (Guest Star Colby Johannson) returns, complicating her relationship with Sam. The situation gets even worse, however, when Sam learns Greg is hiding a whopper of a secret.
Check out a couple of clips after the jump, the first a shocking revelation for Sam, courtesy of the Devil (who else?), and the second a general trailer.
The Cast of ‘Reaper’ Kick It!
May 1, 2008 by Chandra
This just in — my fave video of the month.
Thanks to Reaper regular Valarie Rae Miller (and Pop Candy for the alert) check out the “lip-dub video” after the jump featuring Reaper’s cast and crew jammin’ while lip-synching to Public Enemy’s “Can’t Truss It.”
Do those guys have fun around the set or what? Even the Devil and Gladys the DMV Demon get funky wit’ it y’all.
Reaper: ‘Greg, Schmeg’ Spoilers (5-6-08)
April 22, 2008 by Chandra
Savor this episode, Reaper fans, because there’s only two more left in the season, and there’s no guarantee at all the show will be returning for a second run, no matter how depressing that possibility is.
On “Greg, Schmeg,” Andi hooks back up with a former boyfriend, sending Sam into numerous hissy fits. Fortunately, the Devil may finally be able to do a bit of good when Sam learns a huge secret the new-old guy is hiding. It’s a good one — a deal-breaker, in fact.
Reaper currently airs Tuesdays on The CW at 9pm EST.

Reaper: ‘Coming to Grips’ Spoilers (4-29-08)
April 22, 2008 by Chandra
Uh-oh! Sam’s getting caught in the act on “Coming to Grips,” the April 29 episode of Reaper. And, the person doing all the catching is none other than his longtime love (why, I’ll never understand), Andi.
It’s time he came clean with her anyway, so good, although I have a distinct feeling he’ll lie his way out of yet another precarious situation.
Elsewhere, Ben gets married (!!!), surely causing untold distress to poor Sock after the sudden development.
Reaper currently airs Tuesdays on The CW at 9pm EST.
