Flavor Flav’s offensive MyNetworkTV “comedy” — and I use that term completely ironically — Under One Roof is like a super-atomic cockroach. The announcement landed today: effective this fall season, MyNetworkTV is mercifully and wisely removing the abominable Flavor Flav “sitcom” Under One Roof from its lineup.
More welcome TV news has never been reported. Let us all be thankful the small screen will now be invaded by that many fewer stupid, stereotypical, useless characters and plotlines.

You know, at first it made sense to be forgiving with netlet MyNetworkTV since it hasn’t been in existence that long. One can only take so much, however, before it becomes clear that even forgiveness is no longer in order. Although the show is still worse than atrocious, Under One Roof has improved a bit since I last tuned in. The change isn’t in terms of writing or the cast members’ performances but rather the degree of buffoonery — the actors have toned down their clownish mannerisms and facial expressions, though nowhere near enough.
