The November 9 premiere of the new TBS late-night talk show Lopez Tonight is almost here.

The latest entrant in the late-night chat wars features George Lopez sitcom alum and comedian George Lopez as host.

Emmy-winning New Adventures of Old Christine star Wanda Sykes has a brand-new self-titled late-night talk show launching on Fox at 11pm ET on Saturday, November 7.

Billed as “irreverent,” The Wanda Sykes Show is a weekly hourlong series featuring the comedian, actress, and author as host. Each episode will include her personal and unique opinion about the latest events in a variety of areas, such as pop culture and politics, along with both comedy and location segments.

Heads up! The New Adventures of Old Christine’s Emmy-winning regular Wanda Sykes is set to visit NBC’s The Jay Leno Show on October 7 between 10pm and 11pm ET.

The multi-talented actress, author, and comedienne has a brand-new talk show of her own coming up on Fox this fall, so the two entertainers should have plenty of things to discuss.

The title says it all. On September 29, The New Adventures of Old Christine’s Emmy-winning leading lady Julia Louis-Dreyfus will drop by The Jay Leno Show.

Also joining the host on that episode is another huge comedy favorite: Soap, Saturday Night Live, City Slickers, etcetera, etcetera veteran Billy Crystal.
Catch the fun at 10pm ET on NBC and, if you’re game, wait around until 11:34pm ET for The Office’s John Krasinski and The King of Queens‘ Patton Oswalt on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.

Have you been watching the new 10pm version of The Jay Leno Show on NBC? Yeah, me neither. But, if you enjoy the work of Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler, you might want to tune in tonight.

The former Saturday Night Live player is stopping by the primetime talk show on Tuesday, September 22, along with funnyman Paul Reubens, best known to the world at large as Pee Wee Herman.

Basic cable’s TBS made a fantastic announcement this week: comic and actor George Lopez has a new late-night show scheduled to premiere on the network in November 2009.

Fans will remember that Lopez was the star of the self-titled family sitcom George Lopez, which ran on ABC for a very respectable six seasons and 120 episodes from 2002 to 2007. Follow the jump to learn more about his latest TV project.

Tina Fey dropped by CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman last week to discuss lots of things, including, of course, her recent spate of Emmy-worthy Saturday Night Live appearances impersonating Alaska governor and U.S. Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Yeah, the governor visited SNL last night and participated in two mostly unfunny sketches, but Tina’s chat with Dave is way better, not to mention Tina’s too-brief appearance during the opening of last night’s SNL.
