Not only does the writer and director’s hit sitcom House of Payne return with two new episodes at the earlier time of 9pm and 9:30pm ET, but Season Two of his second hit comedy Meet the Browns opens immediately afterward at 10pm and 10:30pm.

All four episodes coming up were directed by Perry, as well, so continue reading for spoilers and a sneak peek at each series. Are Brown’s PJ’s divine or what? I need me some like that!

House of Payne

9pm – Moving Out
The Payne men are in hot water with their women. While Miranda is upset over Calvin allowing his family to stay in their condo and having a fling thing with Mercedes, Curtis catches it from Ella for his bad attitude about her job.

9:30pm – Back Where We Belong
The hot water gets hotter for the men. Following the tension with their wives, Curtis and Calvin end up irritating everyone while they’re living at the barbershop. Also, Floyd gets angry when he learns Zach and Olivia have been sleeping with other.

Meet the Browns

10pm – Meet the Parents & the Plant
Will, Sasha, and even Brown try to find a way to get Brianna and Joaquin back before the Turners adopt them, and Brown takes action when he suspects the frat boys next door are growing pot.

10:30pm – Meet Your Match
After causing Russell to stay away, a guilty Brown secretly sets Cora up on a date using an online dating service. Meanwhile, Jesús and London’s attempts to help Miss Daisy prepare for an audition produce unexpected consequences.

Season Two of USA Network’s hit witness-protection dramedy In Plain Sight kicks off tomorrow night, April 19, at 10pm ET with the premiere episode “Gilted Lily.”

Although U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack) is on administrative leave due to the man she killed at the end of Season One, her sympathetic boss Stan McQueen (Paul Ben-Victor) allows her to trail along while her partner Marshall Mann (Frederick Weller) investigates his latest case involving a dead witness.

I’ve already watched the episode, which is fittingly downbeat and more talkative than action-packed to match the state Mary finds herself in after the disastrous events that closed the first season. Things do heat up as more episodes air, however.

It’s time!

Tonight at 8:30pm ET, NBC will debut its long-anticipated Amy Poehler comedy Parks and Recreation. As everybody knows at this stage, the workplace mockumentary stars the former Saturday Night Live player as Leslie Knope, an employee of Pawnee, Indiana’s small Parks and Recreation Department and the aspiring first female president of the United States.

Co-starring are:

Office alumna Rashida Jones as nurse Ann Perkins, whom Leslie is determined to help transform an unused construction pit into a community park.

Scrubs actor Aziz Ansari as Leslie’s colleague Tom Haverford, who likes to put his job to good use … for himself.

Mayne Street’s Aubrey Plaza as downbeat Parks and Recreation college intern April Ludgate.

Paul Schneider (Third Watch) as long-time city planner Mark Brendanawicz, Leslie’s work friend.

American Body Shop’s Nick Offerman as Leslie’s boss Ron Swanson, who has issues with the government although he works for it.

Everwood star Chris Pratt as Ann’s musician boyfriend Andy.

Set and filmed in New York, the crime series with secrets follows a group of NYPD detectives who are unusual cops following unusual cases with unusual twists. What’s not to like?

The show stars Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Joan of Arcadia’s Amber Tamblyn, an actress who has repeatedly demonstrated a clear knack for portraying wry and independent women like Detective Casey Shraeger. A new recruit to the Homicide division from Vice and saddled with an unfortunate first case investigating the death of her new partner’s former partner, Shraeger quickly learns that her latest group of colleagues are just as unpredictable as her current assignment.

Jeremy Renner (28 Weeks Later) plays Schraeger’s Homicide partner Detective Jason Walsh, and the rest of the principal cast includes Harold Perrineau (Lost) as paranoid Detective Leo Banks, who insists on wearing a bulletproof vest at all times; Adam Goldberg (Entourage) as Banks’ suicidal partner Detective Eric Delahoy, who wants to bite the dust on the job; Monique Gabriela Curnen (The Dark Knight) as tough-chick Detective Allison Beaumont; Josh Close (The Day the Earth Stood Still) as Beaumont’s ultra religious partner Detective Henry Cole, who’s hiding something; Kai Lennox (40 Days and 40 Nights) as attention-hungry Detective Eddie Alvarez, a dishonest media whore; and Terry Kinney (Oz) as Sergeant Harvey Brown, the boss attempting to root out corruption in his precinct.

Actually, all I needed to know beforehand was the excellent cast lineup and the fact that The Unusuals was created by Bones producer and writer Noah Hawley, but a few clips never hurt.

That’s Lennox’s Detective Alvarez providing the intel about his coworkers in the first preview and Perrineau’s Detective Banks and Goldberg’s Detective Delahoy in action in the second. I definitely like.

Season Five of FX’s firefighter dramedy Rescue Me finally kicks off tomorrow night, April 7, at 10pm ET with the premiere “Baptism.”

Onboard as the central guest star is Family Ties and Spin City icon Michael J. Fox, who plays Janet’s latest man-friend and the predictable root of much consternation for Tommy, who’s still dealing with his father Michael’s (Charles Durning) death in the fourth-season finale “Yaz.”

Follow the jump for a few preview photos of the season opener featuring the show’s very special newcomer. The best thing of all? Fans have 22 fifth-season episodes, extending into September six months from now, to enjoy once Rescue Me is officially back in action. Kinda makes the 19-month wait worth it.

FYI: Need to play catch-up? Watch the complete first four seasons of Rescue Me, as in all 13×4=52 episodes, online at Hulu, the best thing to happen to the entertainment Internets since whatever the first best thing was. Even last summer’s 10-installment webisode series remains available there, too, for good measure.

For comparison, that’s the same time period that helped establish the first season of Samantha Who? as a hit, although the Christina Applegate comedy’s ratings have decreased substantially since it lost the top-rated lead-in.

Multi-camera Surviving Suburbia stars How I Met Your Mother and Full House’s Saget as suburb-dwelling married father of two Steve Patterson. His wife Anne is played by Men in Trees and Dead Like Me alumna Cynthia Stevenson.

The premise of the series is fairly standard. After two decades of marriage and a color-by-the-numbers existence in a nice suburban neighborhood, Steve still hasn’t turned into a true convert. As a result, his opinion of his lifestyle and surroundings is filled with negativity (but the network prefers the nicer-sounding term “cynical”) and sarcasm.

“Hero,” tonight’s premiere episode, finds Steve the cause of a major disaster when he reluctantly agrees to look after a neighbor’s (Dan Cortese, What I Like About You) house and starts a fire while on duty. Instead of coming clean, Steve pretends to have actually prevented the fire from doing worse damage, and he’s soon hailed as a hero.

I can deal with that plotline, but critical reception of the sitcom has been spotty at best, leaning heavily toward the “Thumbs Way Down in the Gutter” side. On the good side, the current forecast could turn out to be wrong.

If you think someone’s going to explicitly tell you who died in the explosion at the end of the fifth-season finale during Reno 911!’s sixth-season premiere, you’d better think again.

The action begins with hot-shorted Lieutenant Jim Dangle’s exclamation, “Holy poop. I thought we got canceled.” I can’t tell if he’s happy or sad to have the camera crew back around, though.

Dangle immediately dangles the suggestion that we’ll learn who bit the dust at the end of Season Five. But, no, he actually only reveals that two of his former colleagues died, not their names, because he can’t even remember who they were. Deputy Trudy Wiegel has to correct him when he claims that one was the African-American guy because Deputy S. Jones, the only officer that fits that description, is still very much alive and kicking.

According to Dangle, since we last saw the squad:

(1) They got the new light bulbs that save you three cents every three days
(2) A new form of hepatitis started spreading in the jail, and you can thank the Reno Sheriff’s Department if you contract it
(3) The show wasn’t canceled
(4) A couple of deputies got exploded in an explosion
(5) And the new coffee cups came in

Absent from the sixth-season premiere are Deputies Clementine Johnson (Wendi McLendon-Covey), Cherisha Kimball (Mary Birdsong), and James Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui), and we have two new crime fighters in their place. The first is dry, boring, and very literal Jack Declan (Ian Roberts) from the Chicago Police Department.

During one segment, he and Deputy Raineesha Williams run into local lowlife and regular “informant” Terry Bernadino (Nick Swardson), who’s obviously lying to Declan about midnight “diarrhea embargoes” and other equally silly nonsense. Instead of noticing Williams’ snickering and getting the not-so-subtle joke as a result, Declan instead thinks that “Big T” is speaking in secret code. Duh!

The second newcomer is Frank Salvatore Rizzo (Jo Lo Truglio) from Ozone Park, Queens, a place he’s now banned from because of “mistakes” he made. Rizzo quickly admits he’s worked in lots and lots and lots of places, sometimes for as brief as just one day. Deputy Travis Junior accurately describes him later as a man with a very long résumé in law enforcement and not one letter of recommendation on file. That tells you pretty much everything you need to know about Rizzo.

Unsurprisingly, Rizzo eventually gives Jones reason to believe he’s also a dirty cop when they partner up on undercover operation Cobra Fist to apprehend PCP dealer Jesús del Gallos. Rizzo spends more time hooking up in alleys with male prostitutes dressed like women and scoring drugs (and persuading Jones to follow suit), allegedly to maintain their cover, than acting like a law enforcement officer. But, just when Jones decides to bust him, Rizzo collars the mark singlehandedly.

The episode’s special quest star, Jonah Hill (Superbad, Knocked Up), plays Daniel Shahim. Dangle and Williams show up at his job to escort him off the premises because security called the cops complaining he won’t leave after being let go.

Following scenes with Daniel running away from the officers, cursing profusely, giving Dangle the finger, trying to bribe the cops (for $7 or $70 — choose your preferred number of zeros) not to arrest him, and pulling the lieutenant’s own gun on him, the two realize they’ve got the wrong guy. The right one is named Jack Shahim, and he works in the building across the street.

Just another day in Washoe County.

The sixth season of Comedy Central’s Reno 911! finally launches tonight at 10:30pm ET with the opening episode “Training Day” and assurances the Season Five finale cliffhanger will get a resolution.

The third season of the TBS comedy My Boys lands tonight at 10:30pm ET with the opening episode “Welcome Back, Kalla Fötter.” In case you’re wondering — and I just know you are — the last two words mean “cold feet.”

Does that mean it’s safe to predict that Bobby isn’t going to marry Andy’s beautiful Swedish nanny Elsa (Mini Anden, Dirt), or does it mean that he’s going to neglect to reveal his feelings for PJ to PJ after realizing at the end of the second-season finale “John, Cougar, Newman Camp” that she’s now involved with his brother Jack (Billy Burke, Twilight)? Or does it mean something else entirely? We fans will just have to watch and find out.

I am certain, however, that Bobby is the one with the temperature-challenged tootsies, and PJ is going to have some things to deal with being the woman standing between two brothers. Oh, and she’s also an auntie again, thanks to the arrival of Andy’s baby. At least the last is good news.

While Rusty copes with his new existence as a sophomore Kappa Tau resident and engineering major, Casey tries to figure out how to break the news to her BFF Ashleigh that she intends to move out of the Zeta Beta Zeta house. Then there’s the ongoing tension caused by Frannie and her new sorority, which prompts Ashleigh to recruit a spy, whom Casey doesn’t trust, for a little undercover work.

Also, new freshman Andy (Jesse McCartney, Summerland), a student Calvin knows from high school, arrives and immediately attracts the attention of nearly everyone on campus, including Kappa Tau Gamma and Omega Chi Delta reps who want him as a pledge. Either Andy is one insanely awesome guy or the incoming frosh class at Cyprus-Rhodes University is pretty darn small and short on cool kids.

Two sneak peeks at the midseason premiere follow the jump. The first features Casey bumping into Ashleigh, Frannie, and Rebecca after arriving back on campus with Max Tyler (Michael Rady, Swingtown), and the second shows Andy getting a taste of frat life, super-sized Cappie style, with Rusty and Calvin.

Greek airs Mondays on ABC Family at 8pm ET.
