Of note is the fact that it was directed by Wonder Years child star Fred Savage, now 32, who has taken a directorial seat behind the camera on a number of comedy-centric television series on various networks in the last few years, including ABC’s Ugly Betty, CBS’ Worst Week, FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Starz’s Party Down, TBS’ My Boys, and The CW’s defunct Aliens in America. Wonder Years star Fred Savage takes the directing reins for this installment of Aliens in America, “One Hundred Thousand Miles.”
All of the Tolchuks prepare to go on a family vacation to Vancouver, with student guest Raja in tow. But, when they get to the airport, something happens that totally and thoroughly derails their plans. This event then leads to a number of consequences, some good and some (temporarily) bad.
