“Chuck Versus the Ring,” the big wedding episode — which also doubles as Chuck’s second-season finale — doesn’t air until Monday, April 27. Another new episode, “Chuck Versus the Colonel,” airs the preceding Monday, April 20. Yet, early finale preview photos show cast members all dolled up for the nuptials of Doctors Eleanor Bartowski and Devon Woodcomb.

The forthcoming December 1 episode of Chuck called “Chuck Versus the Sensei” is going to be a good one, guaranteed.

Now that it’s almost time for Chuck’s big sister Ellie to get hitched to awesome Devon, let’s meet his parents, Drs. Honey and Woody Woodcomb. They’re played by television icons Morgan Fairchild (Falcon Crest, Flamingo Road) and Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5, Scarecrow and Mrs. King), which is more than enough reason to tune in for their arrival.

Another excellent motivation is to see Alias veteran Carl Lumbly portray one more kick-ass spy, this time Casey’s sensei mentor Ty Bennett, whom the NSA agent is shocked to learn may have turned rogue. There’s no way this plotline can be anything less than spook-tastic.

After make an entertaining debut last week on Chuck as the title character’s infamous college girlfriend Jill — you know, the woman who slept with his best-friend roommate Bryce Larkin and then dumped him — Jordana Brewster continues her multi-episode arc during November 17th’s “Chuck Versus the Fat Lady.”

Things are going swell with Chuck and Jill’s rekindled romance, until she inevitably learns about his handler Sarah and her “undercover” role as Chuck’s girlfriend. Will jealousy get the best of Jill … or Sarah? Honestly, it could go either way and will likely go both.

And, if two smart, gorgeous women aren’t more than enough for Chuck to handle at one time, there’s also alleged efficiency expert Emmett (Tony Hale), who takes it upon himself to smear Chuck’s reputation, using Chuck’s lifelong best friend Morgan as a source of information.

Yeah, good luck with that…

In just a couple of weeks, longtime fans of NBC’s Chuck will finally get to spend some quality time with one of the series’ central figures, even if we’ve never seen her face before (I don’t think).

That would be Chuck Bartowski’s college ex-girlfriend Jill, whom our human computer claims dumped him for his duplicitous roommate Bryce Larkin, thereby breaking his fragile heart and causing much enduring pain.

The character is played by The Fast and the Furious star Jordana Brewster, and she arrives on the scene for a multi-episode story arc when Chuck tends to a Nerd Herd call on the November 10th episode “Chuck Versus the Ex.”

Nicole Richie’s long-anticipated stunt/guest appearance on Chuck is almost here, and by most accounts, she does a great job playing spygirl Sarah Walker’s high school mean-girl nemesis Heather Chandler.

We’ll all be able to judge for ourselves just how good Richie is in the role when “Chuck Versus the Cougars” premieres tomorrow night at 8pm EST.
