Dennis joins up with an environmentalist group, but his altruistic intentions sour quickly when he’s snubbed by the activists. Dee and Mac decide to raise a baby they find in a dumpster, but quickly find out that it’s not nearly as fun as they thought it would be. And Frank and Charlie take the concept of recycling a bit too far.

Dennis and Dee’s Mom is Dead (303)

Barbara’s sudden death has a profound impact on her surviving family. Frank and Dee are furious at being left out of the will and team up to seek revenge on the dead woman. For Dennis, the thrill of inheriting his mother’s stately mansion is tempered by the realization that he, Mac, and Charlie are friendless and destined to die lonely and forgotten … unless they meet new friends. The only problem is that they don’t quite know how to make friends.

Mac’s unusual behavior leads Frank, Dennis, and Dee to suspect that he’s the serial killer on the loose in Philly. They devise a plan to catch Mac in the act, while Charlie utilizes the vast legal knowledge he’s learned from TV shows to prove Mac’s innocence. When the gang learns the true reasons for Mac’s mysterious behavior, they are even more sickened and horrified by their friend’s behavior.

Dennis is mistaken for a recently released child molester but is more upset that he’s being mistaken for a fat person than a sex offender. Mac tries to bond with his ex-con father who can’t take his eyes off Dee, which gives her the creeps.
