‘Til Death’ Prolonged Hiatus Finally Over
July 5, 2009 by Chandra
Heads up, faithful starved ‘Til Death fans. The Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher sitcom is back on Fox tonight (July 5) at 7pm ET, although only in repeats and without dearly departed next-door neighbors Jeff and Steph Woodcock.

First on the schedule during the summer run leading up to the comedy’s September 18 fourth-season premiere is “Joy Ride,” the second episode of the third season.
Joy decides to flirt with her co-worker when she assumes that Eddie’s snazzy new red convertible is competition and the result of a mid-life crisis. However, Eddie won’t be feeling too grand when Kenny completely tricks Eddie’s old car out after buying it.
Exactly nine months and three days have passed since the last fresh episode — or any episode — of ‘Til Death aired, so enjoy the series now that it’s back.

On the first of two new episodes, “Meet the Mexican,” Estrada plays the father of character Jesús. The handyman persuades the residents of the Brown household to pretend they’re his servants in order to impress his father, who doesn’t realize Jesús hasn’t become the successful lawyer he wants to be yet.

If you recall, the network shocked many folks last month when it decided to pick up the sitcom for a sophomore season, despite average ratings. The series stars Jay Harrington (Private Practice, Desperate Housewives) as Ted Crisp, the well-liked and successful manager of the Research and Development division at odd technology company Veridian Dynamics.
Nurse Jackie: ‘Chicken Soup’ Preview
June 22, 2009 by Chandra
I’ve heard of a lot of things during my lifetime, but never anything like what’s coming up on tonight’s (June 22) fresh episode of Nurse Jackie deliciously titled “Chicken Soup.”

During the episode, Jackie talks about her daughter Grace’s anxiety with Dr. O’Hara, and pharmacist Eddie discovers a machine called a Pyxis that dispenses pills is set to replace him. Losing your job to another human being — Sucks. Losing your job to a piece of equipment — Pretty damn priceless and brutal.
