Erik Estrada Guest Stars on ‘Meet the Browns’

Former CHiPs star Erik Estrada — better known as Officer Francis Llewellyn “Ponch” Poncherello to the truly obsessed (I just called him Ponch) — is getting around these days, and his next stop on the tube is TBS’ very own Meet the Browns, tonight (June 24) at 10pm ET.
On the first of two new episodes, “Meet the Mexican,” Estrada plays the father of character Jesús. The handyman persuades the residents of the Brown household to pretend they’re his servants in order to impress his father, who doesn’t realize Jesús hasn’t become the successful lawyer he wants to be yet.
A Little Dish on ‘Chuck’ from Tricia Helfer
One of the best parts of the current television season for me has been getting the opportunity to participate in interviews with every regular cast member of USA Network’s deserving hit Burn Notice.
As next week’s season finale rapidly approaches, it was Season Two newcomer Tricia Helfer (Carla) and series star Jeffrey Donovan’s (Michael Westen) turn in the hot seat this week. [Read last month's post featuring icon Bruce Campbell here.]
The chat with Helfer, who also stars as Cylon Number Six on Sci Fi Channel’s Battlestar Galactica, was especially informative since she gladly discussed all three of the popular TV shows she’s currently aligned with. They would be Burn Notice and Battlestar Galactica, of course, as well as the dramedy Chuck.
Andy Richter & Jenny McCarthy Guest on ‘Chuck Versus the Suburbs’

I reckon the February 16th episode of Chuck called “Chuck Versus the Suburbs” is going to be yet another prime specimen of non-stop, supremely funny entertainment, thanks in part to guest stars Andy Richter (Andy Barker, P.I.) and Jenny McCarthy (Two and a Half Men). After looking at the episode photos, let me venture a guess that they’re doubling as the bad guys, too.
When Chuck and Sarah’s latest assignment forces them to pose as a happily married couple living in the suburbs, they meet a variety of interesting people, including Brad (Richter), a cheerful next-door neighbor in the stationary business, and Sylvia (McCarthy), a seductive woman who lives across the street and has her eye on Chuck.
Two-Hour ‘Actors Studio’ for Conan O’Brien

Late-night talk-show superstar Conan O’Brien is so huge right now, he’s getting a double-length, two-hour block of time devoted all to him during his appearance on next week’s new edition of Bravo’s Inside the Actors Studio.
When the episode airs on Monday, January 26 at 8pm EST, host James Lipton will ask the NBC staple numerous questions about his showbiz career, ranging from his early days at the Harvard Lampoon to his current gig, and even his stint as a congressional intern. They also cover the stuff in between, such as O’Brien’s tenure writing for Fox’s never-ending cartoon The Simpsons and working with movie star Tom Hanks.

Q&A Fun with ‘Burn Notice’s Bruce Campbell
Thanks to his unforgettable work in enduring cult movies like Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, Burn Notice star Bruce Campbell was mega popular long before the USA Network series took off and became the huge hit it is now.
Ever gracious and entertaining, the star of film and television recently answered questions to help spread the word about the return of Burn Notice next Thursday, January 22, at 10pm EST. The first of seven remaining episodes out of the midseason stable is the medical-scam caper “Do No Harm.”
If you weren’t already salivating to pick up where the current sophomore season left off last September and to see what happens to Sam Axe (Campbell) and his fellow spies Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) and Fiona Glenanne (Gabrielle Anwar) next, maybe the following fun interview will help get you in the proper mood.

BRUCE CAMPBELL: For me, I’m just convinced one day that some bystander’s going to shoot me with a gun. And the reason why I say that is because my character Sam has a rifle with a scope and often he’s up on high rises and overpasses taking potshots at people.
‘Vanity Fair’ Tells Us What Tina Fey Wants

Tongues are a-wagging about the recent interview Vanity Fair conducted with deserving It Girl and 30 Rock mastermind Tina Fey.
Although the title boasts that the magazine knows “What Tina Wants,” all many readers want to finally know is how the world-famous scar on her face got there. And, yes, if you are in that group of curious fans, the secret is revealed: the facial feature is the result of a bizarre slashing from a stranger that occurred when the funnywoman was five years old.
I find that information profoundly disturbing, but thankfully the rest of the interview isn’t. Check out the four-page write-up over at the Vanity Fair website. It’s got cool pics and a quickie photo shoot video of Tina, too.
Tina Fey Talks Sarah Palin with David Letterman

Tina Fey dropped by CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman last week to discuss lots of things, including, of course, her recent spate of Emmy-worthy Saturday Night Live appearances impersonating Alaska governor and U.S. Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Yeah, the governor visited SNL last night and participated in two mostly unfunny sketches, but Tina’s chat with Dave is way better, not to mention Tina’s too-brief appearance during the opening of last night’s SNL.

Everybody Loves Cappie: Scott Michael Foster Talks ‘Greek’

Greek cast member Scott Michael Foster comes across as a really laid-back guy, just like Cappie, the phenomenally popular Cyprus-Rhodes University fraternity president he plays on ABC Family’s hit college show.
When the 23-year-old actor took some time to participate in a Q&A session recently, he revealed a few things about the notoriously mysterious character … except the two things fans want to know most: Cappie’s real name and major, of course. We’ll get to the bottom of those two later.
For now, read on to learn how Foster feels about the Kappa Tau Gamma leader he plays and get a jump-start on what’s in the works for both Cappie and Greek as the series quickly approaches its October 28th midseason finale.
One of Cappie’s greatest assets is the mystique he has because viewers don’t know very much about him. How much do you know about his background and what is it like playing a character who is so mysterious in some ways?
SCOTT MICHAEL FOSTER: You know, I don’t know much about the character other than what everyone has seen or will see soon. They kind of keep up-to-date, and we know a little bit about what the character will do in the future. They give us a little bit of a background on the character — pretty much what you see — and what you will see in the next season is about what I know. So, you know, it’s always really exciting for me to see the new scripts and see what they have next for the character. I just take it as it comes to me.
Amber Stevens: More Than Just a ‘Greek’ BFF

Without a doubt, a huge and deserving fan favorite on ABC Family’s stellar college dramedy Greek is 21-year-old Amber Stevens, who plays upbeat Zeta Beta Zeta beauty Ashleigh.
When Stevens isn’t busy filming movies, such as the forthcoming comedy Fired Up, with other TV stars that include 90210’s AnnaLynne McCord and Las Vegas’ Molly Sims, then she’s venturing out into communities with her Greek colleagues to help motivate young people to register to vote through the nonpartisan nonprofit campaign Declare Yourself.
Clearly more than just a busy actress on a hit television series, Stevens graciously set aside time recently to answer burning questions about her current bread and butter, among other things. Read on to learn all about the woman who brings fun Ashleigh to life on each episode of Greek.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus Talks ‘Christine’ with Letterman

The New Adventures of Old Christine star Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been out and about recently promoting her CBS sitcom, which just launched its fourth season last Wednesday. And I might add the season premiere “A Decent Proposal” was a complete winner that featured her character Christine marrying her longtime best friend Barb to keep Barb from being deported. Now that’s love.
One of Louis-Dreyfus’ stops this week was David Letterman’s Late Show.
