December 11, 2009 by Chandra
The bad news for fans of the quirky HBO comedy Flight of the Conchords dropped on December 10. That’s when the series’ creators published a post on their website announcing the end of the show after just two seasons.
The series hasn’t been canceled by its home network HBO, however. Instead, the cancellation comes courtesy of the show’s New Zealand-based co-creators and stars Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie and co-creator and director James Bobin.

‘Hank’ Has Been Axed
November 11, 2009 by Chandra
Honestly — who didn’t see this coming? Variety and just about every other TV-industry rag report that ABC has gotten it over with already and canceled the so-not-funny rookie sitcom Hank, which stars Cheers and Frasier great Kelsey Grammer in the not-so-great title role.
As a result of the recent development, viewers can kiss all unaired episodes in Hank’s ten-episode first season goodbye for the moment.

Hank: ‘Relax, Don’t Do It’ Preview
October 21, 2009 by Chandra
The title character tackles the problems of doing absolutely nothing on the new October 21 episode of Hank called “Relax, Don’t Do It.”
When unemployed Hank finds it difficult to live a life with no professional responsibilities, he focuses all of his unused energy on being the best husband and hunter — yes, hunter — ever. I’m sure his wife and two kids are gonna love that and, if viewers are lucky, this episode might actually even be funny.
‘Secret Girlfriend’ Preview: Chicks and Wet Dreams
October 14, 2009 by Chandra
If you enjoyed the October 7 series premiere of Comedy Central’s silly new comedy series Secret Girlfriend, as did I, you’re probably gonna love the second installment (they don’t come with titles — just numbers) premiering on October 14.
Each episode consists of two vignette-type segments, each with its own subplot. During the premiere, we met the five main characters — one who’s never fully seen because he’s holding the video camera filming everything — in the first segment and then learned about a cool strip club with a tasty buffet in the second.

October 14, 2009 by Chandra
Viewers are probably going to get the munchies while watching “Drag Your Daughter to Work Day,” the new October 14 episode of ABC’s new Kelsey Grammer comedy Hank.
When Hank decides it’s time for his daughter Maddie (Eureka’s Jordan Hinson) to get a job just like he used to have at her age, the only way to make that happen is for him to get a job working right with her at the mall.
