Next on Tyler Perry TBS Sitcoms: December 23

TBS is getting into the holiday spirit again on December 23 with its Wednesday-night Tyler Perry sitcoms. Both House of Payne and Meet the Browns will premiere one new episode, and both will also present encores of previous Christmas episodes.

The first new episode of the night is House of Payne’s “Til Payne Do We Part ” at 10pm ET. Disaster strikes when Claretha and Floyd persuade Ella and Curtis to try the single life again after the couple learns that their marriage is invalid.

The three-hour comedy block will include repeats of two previous House of Payne Christmas episodes, as well: December 2007’s “The Wench Who Saved Christmas” at 8:30pm and the current season’s December 9 episode “Oh Christmas Payne, Part 1″ at 9pm.

The new episode of Meet the Browns is called “Meet the Tension,” and it airs at 10:30pm. Brown tries to reunite Edna and the Colonel after they break up because he doesn’t want her to move back in, and Troy helps Will get his job at the hospital back.

In addition, catch an encore of the December 9 Meet the Browns Christmas episode “Meet the Christmas Spirit” at 9:30pm.

New episodes of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne air Wednesdays on TBS at 10pm ET, followed by Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns at 10:30pm.
