Two-time Barney Miller Emmy nominee Max Gail is back as Gary’s eccentric hippie father Jack on “Gary Apologizes,” the fresh November 18 episode of CBS’ Gary Unmarried.

Since this is the Thanksgiving episode a whole week early…

It’s no surprise that the plot involves Gary screwing up the fancy holiday feast he’d hoped to make, forcing him to run to his ex-wife Allison for disaster-recovery assistance.

Poor Gary — always biting off more than he can chew. But I’m sure Allison’s gonna be lovin’ the predicament as soon as she gets over her irritation.
