Bored to Death: ‘The Case of the Beautiful Blackmailer’ Preview

Reno 911!, United States of Tara, and The King of Queens veteran Patton Oswalt guest stars on the brand-new October 25 episode of Bored to Death called “The Case of the Beautiful Blackmailer.”
Also returning to reprise her role as Sophia is Trieste Kelly Dunn (Canterbury’s Law), who appeared in the third episode called “The Case of the Missing Screenplay,” too.
Jonathan’s latest case requires him to get back a sex tape that a female escort has been using as leverage to extort money from a married guy who lives in New Jersey. But when he and a very high — as in “a kite” — George and Ray finally corner the woman in a motel room, she tries to blackmail Jonathan, as well.
The amateur sleuth’s main problem then becomes whether stoned George and Ray can manage to prevent the escort’s violent brother from kicking his butt. Oh, the suspense!
