Nurse Jackie: ‘Steak Knife’ Preview

The latest new episode of Showtime’s rookie comedy Nurse Jackie is the July 20 installment “Steak Knife,” which was directed by film actor Steve Buscemi (Fargo).

During this episode:
Team Jackie tends to a patient admitted with a steak knife still lodged in his chest, courtesy of his date’s ex-husband.
Jackie refuses Eddie’s gift of an expensive Cartier bracelet for their one-year anniversary and she invites O’Hara to hang out in Queens when a personal crisis causes the doctor to lose her normal cool.
Akalitus retrieves an abandoned baby left in the nurses’ station.
And Grace’s parents have high hopes for controlling their daughter’s anxiety when she begins school at Immaculate Virgin.
This episode’s two sneak peeks are The Proper No Thanks (Jackie refuses O’Hara’s offer to pay for her daughter’s education) and Unisex, Right? (Eddie and Coop chat about that bracelet).
