Catch the Final Monday-Night Life
In addition to new Chuck and CBS sitcoms.
Notable Comedy TV scheduled for Monday, October 6 follows.
All times are Eastern Standard.
The Big Bang Theory — The Barbarian Sublimation
Poor Penny gets addicted to online gambling when Sheldon shows her the ropes.
[8pm-8:30pm | CBS]
Chuck — Chuck Versus the Seduction
The long-anticipated arrival of guest star John Larroquette (Boston Legal, Night Court) is finally here. He plays renowned debonair spy Roan Montgomery, while The O.C. veteran Melinda Clarke portrays an enchanting spy known as the Black Widow. In order to go undercover to successfully retrieve the Cipher from the Black Widow, Chuck must first turn to Roan for a few lessons in the difficult art of seduction.
[8pm-9pm | NBC]
How I Met Your Mother — I Heart NJ
Bummer! Ted discovers that Stella (returning guest star Sarah Chalke of Scrubs) expects him to move to New Jersey, where she currently lives, after they get married.
[8:30pm-9pm | CBS]
Two and a Half Men — Damn You, Eggs Benedict
The Harper brothers try to do something new: Charlie tackles cooking and Alan attempts to date multiple women simultaneously. Now why do I suspect they both fail miserably?
[9pm-9:30pm | CBS]
Worst Week — The Monitor
Mel’s sister gets an unlikely admirer in the form of Sam’s friend Adam (Cavemen’s — remember that one? — Nick Kroll), and, of course, protective, humorless, perpetually sour Judge Dick is not the least bit pleased.
[9:30pm-10pm | CBS]
Life — The Business of Miracles
Charlie and Dani take on the puzzling case of a cancer research scientist found frozen solid. Is the culprit a demented member of an animal rights group who switched the scientist’s oxygen tank with another containing pure liquid nitrogen (Ouch!!!), or, as usual, is something else less obvious going on? I vote for Door Number Two.
[10pm-11pm | NBC | Special Time]
