Jennifer Aniston Films on ‘30 Rock’ Set

Everybody’s so excited about Emmy winner Jennifer Aniston’s second return to television since her fan-favorite series Friends ended four years ago after an impressive decade-long run. The first time was a guest-star appearance last year on her best friend Courteney Cox’s canceled FX dramedy Dirt. Now, the former Rachel Green is heading to another critically lauded sitcom, Tina Fey’s baby 30 Rock.

Jennifer was spotted in New York last week shooting her scenes, just days after NBC issued the official press release on Tuesday, September 2, announcing her upcoming one-episode gig. According to the network, she’ll play Claire Harper, a stalker in the scary vein of Glenn Close’s character in Fatal Attraction. And the object of her obsession? Alec Baldwin’s Jack Donaghy, which actually sounds like a match made in heaven since Jack is kind of “out there” himself.

Judging by her spectrum of facial expressions, it looks like she still has that goofball thing going on. Should be lotsa fun to see her interacting with Tina & Company, and I bet her appearance is going to trump the Gossip Girl stunt casting coming up this season, too, although I hope both episodes lead to higher ratings.
