Christine’s New Adventures Resume in September

I’ve missed Old Christine and her ragtag gang. They’ll start the fourth season of The New Adventures of Old Christine in typical zany style, with Christine and her best friend Barb staging a wedding to each other.

And, no, the women haven’t suddenly realized they’re lesbians. The point is to keep Barb from being deported to the Bahamas, although many would probably agree that if you’re going to get kicked out of the United States, there are far worse places to be sent.

While the two BFFs are busy with the next big change in their lives, Christine’s ex-husband Richard also tries to get New Christine to marry him. I’d bet money that won’t happen anytime soon, however.

All of this happens on the fourth-season premiere “A Decent Proposal,” which airs Wednesday, September 24, at 8pm EST.
