Burn Notice: ‘Bad Blood’ Spoilers (8-14-08)

August 14, 2008 by Chandra

Jeffrey Donovan/Burn NoticeUh-oh! It looks like Burn Notice’s Michael Westen is going to bust a move or two on the August 14 episode called “Bad Blood.”

To stop whoever is stealing money from a charity supported by a top hip-hop businessman, the spy works another one of his tricks by convincing the thief to embezzle even more money. We’ll see how that helps solve the problem when the episode premieres.

An added bonus for sci-fi TV fans, especially those who have a soft spot for Sci Fi Channel’s Stargate saga, is guest star Michael Shanks (Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis’ Dr. Daniel Jackson). “Bad Blood” marks the first of a series of episodes featuring him as Victor, Michael’s fellow burned spy. And if that coincidence isn’t enough, the two fallen spooks have another thing in common — Carla, the mysterious handler played by Battlestar Galactica’s Tricia Helfer, who happily orders them both around.

Unlike Michael, however, Victor doesn’t have his act together. As a result, people who have nothing to do with his work often end up harmed by his careless actions. It’s going to be a lot of fun watching Shanks and Helfer, two mega popular TV stars from the science-fiction genre, work together, and on a non-sci-fi series at that.

Get an advance look at what’s coming up in the two “Bad Blood” clips following the jump, a sneak peek and a trailer. That’s Shanks playing chess with series star Jeffrey Donovan in the second video, for those who aren’t familiar with him.

Burn Notice airs Thursdays on USA at 10pm EST.
