‘Office’ Worker Craig Robinson Speaks
August 12, 2008 by Chandra
The Office cast member Craig Robinson (pictured at left with co-star Leslie David Baker), best known to fans of the NBC sitcom as warehouse specialist Darryl Philbin, recently set aside some time to talk to Pop Candy blogger Whitney Matheson. Craig also stars in the new Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow big-screen comedy Pineapple Express, in which he plays a villain named Matheson, just like Whitney’s surname.
She’s a fan of his for more reasons than that, though, because Craig is yet another talented actor from the standup school of comedy. He’s been getting some great parts lately in feature films like Pineapple Express and Apatow’s Knocked Up, and he reveals in the interview that we’ll be seeing him soon in other movie projects brought to us by Kevin Smith and a couple of players from sketch comedy’s The Whitest Kids U’ Know.
Check out the interview to learn more interesting things about Craig, such as how he feels about being increasingly recognizable in public and the one comedy character that would make him freak out if he met them in real life. You’ll never guess who that is, either.
