New Line's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" - After Party

Here’s some nice casting news.

Actor Matthew Bomer (pictured at left with actress Jordana Brewster), who played/plays Chuck Bartowski’s college nemesis Bryce Larkin on the NBC dramedy Chuck, has just been cast to star in the 90-minute pilot for a new USA Network series called White Collar.

Bomer, who also starred last summer in ABC’s intriguing action drama Traveler, one of my favorite canceled-too-soon series, will play a con artist by the name of Neal Caffrey. The hook is that the talented criminal is forced to assist the FBI’s white-collar crime unit in solving difficult cases.

It’s good to see Bomer is staying in the action/crime drama camp, so all I have to say is, “Bring it on!”
