‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’ Season Two at Amazon Exclusively
Fans of Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ The New Adventures of Old Christine have been waiting over a year for the second season (the finale aired on May 7, 2007) to finally come out on DVD. That’s exactly what’s going to happen, too, this Tuesday, June 24th.
But if you live in the United States, you won’t be able to pick up the set just anywhere you please because, for some reason, it will only be available online through Amazon. Canadians are far luckier since the release is classified as general retail in that country.
Ordering from the Amazon website will definitely be worth it, though. Unlike the most recent third season, which was a midseason made even shorter by the writers strike, the second season has a full 22 episodes. Amazon is also pricing the set well, currently just $29.99 for pre-orders, which looks like a bargain to me.
