Comedy Talk: Bill Cosby Gets Charitable with Jimmy Kimmel

June 14, 2008 by Chandra

Bill CosbyEntertainment legend Bill Cosby paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday, and he stuck around long enough to have a seat and chat with the host for a good eight minutes.

The occasion was the recent eBay charity auction featuring several of the instantly recognizable colorful sweaters Cosby regularly sported on his hit NBC sitcom The Cosby Show.

After Cosby and his wife Camille came across the garments in their closet one day while cleaning, their daughter Evin had the wise idea of auctioning them off to raise funds for the Hello Friend/Ennis William Cosby Foundation, a nonprofit organization named after Cosby’s son Ennis, who was murdered in Los Angeles in 1997 shortly before beginning a doctoral program.

It was very nice to see the 70-year-old comedian, actor, and educator out and about and still delivering his usual homestyle humor. Take a look at the appearance in the video below.
