Sony Pictures Televisions aims to make that dream come true for you — or a few other women — with a new ten-episode online reality series focused exclusively on getting 48-year-old ‘Til Death star Brad Garrett a date … as if he can’t get one on his own just by opening up his wallet a little.
So, if you or someone you know would love to spend a night’s worth of quality time with Garrett (and his money) on the upcoming online reality series Dating Brad Garrett, head over to the application submission website at Crackle and enter for a chance. The TV star will eventually go on ten blind dates with ten different female (yes, the Powers That Be have made that specific gender a requirement) applicants.
Says the actor-comedian, who is also producing the series, “An online dating show seemed like a logical choice given that I’m in the midst of a mid-life crisis, and adverse to pain, which makes getting my ear pierced out of the question. And since I’m not picky about my choices, I hope women of all sizes, shapes and colors will be compelled to submit their videos.”
Are you game? Personally, I’ll pass, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be fun(ny) watching the usual suspects vying for the opportunity. I suspect Garrett doesn’t quite understand what he’s setting himself up for.
Dating Brad Garrett will premiere this fall on Crackle, YouTube, AOL Video, Hulu, Verizon Wireless’ V CAST Video service, and AT&T Wireless, as well as direct to Sony BRAVIA TVs via BRAVIA Internet Video Link.
