New Dramedy: ‘In Plain Sight’ Premieres Tonight

USA’s latest dramedy, In Plain Sight, is another crime procedural, this time revolving around the Federal Witness Protection Program (aka WITSEC). West Wing’s Mary McCormack stars in the lead role of Mary Shannon, a WITSEC agent who, along with her partner Marshall Mann (Missing Persons’ Fred Weller), hides people whose lives are in danger.
The New Mexico-based series also stars Paul Ben-Victor (The Wire) as bossman Stan McQueen, Cristián de la Fuente (CSI: Miami) as Mary’s casual boyfriend Rafael Ramirez, Lesley Ann Warren (Desperate Housewives) as her ditzy mother Jinx, Nichole Hiltz (The Riches) as her troubled sister Brandi, and Todd Williams (Third Watch) as local cop Bobby D, who interacts with Mary frequently as she goes about her duties.
Tonight’s self-titled series premiere is a special 76-minute episode that will air with limited commercial operation. Check it out on USA at 10pm EST, and you can also preview the series with three trailers after the jump.
