‘Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In’ Video Montage

Dan Rowan and Dick Martin/Laugh-In
As previously reported, veteran comedian and television director Dick Martin passed away last Saturday at age 86. One-half of the inspiration for the 1968–1973 variety comedy series Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, Martin has a permanent place in television history, along with his co-host and former comedy partner Dan Rowan.

If you’re unlucky enough to have never seen Laugh-In, your luck is about to change for the better. YouTube has a nice 8½-minute clip containing numerous hilarious, typically brief segments from the classic series.

Take a look and give yourself a laugh, whether this is your first time or a walk down memory lane. The video even includes appearances by some of the many famous celebrities who appeared on the show, such as Sammy Davis Jr., Phyllis Diller, Kirk Douglas, Colonel Sanders (yes — the one from Kentucky Fried Chicken), Rod Serling, and adorable Sally Field. Good times! Or better yet, “Groovy!”

The video follows the jump.
