Lewis Black Coming Back: ‘Root of All Evil’ Renewed

Following spectacular ratings for the series premiere of Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil — the best at Comedy Central since the series premiere of Chapelle’s Show in 2003, according to Broadcasting & Cable — the cable network has renewed the series for a second season.

Season Two starts July 30 and will have a total of eight episodes.

Check out a signature clip after the jump featuring host Black discussing the case of Oprah Winfrey vs. the Catholic Church.
