Comedy on TV Tonight: ‘Reno 911!’ Back on the Beat

Reno 911!

Ugly Betty

Jump: The hit dramedy closes its second season with a visit from English supermodel Naomi Campbell and hard-living actress Lindsay Lohan. What? Two celebrity headcases on at the same time?! There’s no way this episode can go wrong! [8pm EST/ABC/Second-Season Finale]

Last Comic Standing

Episode 601: We don’t cover this reality series at Comedy Centric, but standup fans should know the sixth season begins tonight. NBC promises appearances by funny people Richard Belzer, Kathy Najimy, Steve Schirripa, and Fred Willard, which is sweet. Belzer alone is worth the price of, well, sitting in front of your TV for 90 minutes. Bill Bellamy (Def Comedy Jam, Any Given Sunday) hosts. [9:30pm EST/NBC/Sixth-Season Premiere]

Reno 911!

Death of a Pickle-Thrower: The zany deputies from the Reno Sheriff’s Department return tonight to open the back half of Reno 911!’s current fifth season. Fans will get eight more episodes this summer, starting with this one all about a hooker with a fatal disease. I kid not, and you can check out a clip from the episode after the jump to see for yourself. [10:30pm EST/Comedy Central/Fifth-Midseason Premiere]

NOTE: Check the Comedy Calendar for more listings, including talk-show appearances by comedy entertainers.
