The New Adventures of Old Christine: ‘Burning Down the House’ Spoilers (3-17-08)

If you’re a fan of The New Adventures of Old Christine and/or Julia Louis-Dreyfus, now is the time to hunker down and make sure you don’t miss another episode of Old Christine this month. In just two short weeks, faster than we’ll realize and before April even arrives, it will all be over.
On “Burning Down the House,” the eighth of ten episodes in the current third season, Christine will go all out to prove to her BFF Barb that she’s “down with it.”
An extra nice touch is guest star Dave Foley (NewsRadio, The Kids in the Hall), who just appeared on the series finale of ABC’s Carpoolers a few weeks ago. The funnyman obviously gets around, and for good reason — he’s a hoot.
The New Adventures of Old Christine airs Mondays on CBS at 9:30pm EST.

Dave Foley was excellent. Need to have his character come back. Very funny episode.

You are so right, terri. Dave Foley always delivers when he guest stars on shows. I would love to some him get his own TV series, preferably a sitcom, one day soon.

Devastated. She’s off the air in April? Can’t take all this on again off again. I need a NAOC bender.

Tell me about it, Wendy.
I’m still trying to get over CBS making such a clearly excellent series a midseason replacement with a shorter shelf life. It’s hard enough finding sitcoms that are actually funny, not to mention that Julia Louis-Dreyfus won an Emmy for playing Old Christine. Have some respect!
