‘Big Bang’ Star Kaley Cuoco Gives Reading Tips

Just because we haven’t seen a new episode in ages doesn’t mean the stars of CBS’ hit rookie sitcom The Big Bang Theory haven’t been out and about, hobnobbing with the press and getting in a little PR during the writers strike.
Take regular cast member Kaley Cuoco, for instance, who appears in the latest issue of the men’s magazine Men’s Health. The actress dishes out a few pointers for the guys to let them know which publications they should and shouldn’t read while on the beach if they want to score with the ladies. Her picks?
Cuoco gives a stiff thumbs up to the diametrically opposed magazines Martha Stewart Living and the Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, as well as Amy Sedaris’ book I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence and the doggie-culture mag The Bark.
The reads she recommends avoiding at all costs, unless your goal is to repel the opposite sex, range from a show-offy script to Rhonda Byrne’s philosophical tome The Secret to the magazines National Enquirer and SkyMall.
Find out the reasons for Cuoco’s picks and pans at the Men’s Health website. If nothing else, you’ll probably at least consider it a little amusing when you learn what she was doing reading the Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics in the first place.
