Featurette: The Style of ‘Lipstick Jungle’
Here’s another video focused on NBC’s latest new series, Lipstick Jungle, this time spotlighting the fashion sense and wardrobe choices on the show.
The footage makes it pretty obvious that while the central women on this dramedy dress well, they don’t wear the same type of in-your-face clothing as do a couple of the characters on the ABC rival Cashmere Mafia.
When I say that, I have a particular garment that Lucy Liu’s character Mia sported on the second episode, a hideous contraption with sleeves so long, wide, and billowy, all I could think about while looking at her was how in the world are you supposed to eat or do anything else normal while wearing something that impractical. I never did come up with an acceptable hypothesis.
