This series sucks. I really enjoyed the promised of a Caitli/Alicia storyline but the writers stabbed the viewers in the back.

I enjoyed the Caitlin-Alicia plot, too, because they seemed like a good couple. But, Cashmere Mafia is not so good for a number of reasons, and it probably won’t return anyway.
If it were a quality series capable of lasting longer, the writers might have introduced another same-sex relationship for Caitlin. I’m guessing we’ll never know, though.

You’re right they could’ve introduced another same sex love for Caitlin HOWEVER some of us write screenplays and the fact that Darren Star deep sixed the Alicia/Caitlin story arc without any resolution well they asked for it. Still Cashmere Mafia was a lot better than Lipstick Jungle. what I want to know is what were the problems you saw because script-wise before the editors messed up everything the scripts in the first 2 episode were pretty solid.

There’s actually one more episode of Mafia left, so I don’t know if that particular storyline has a resolution or not.
My main difficulty with the show is that none of the four lead characters do anything for me. In other words, I’m perpetually bored while watching, and I don’t care who does what or what happens to who. Most of the time I can guess correctly anyway.
In my opinion, Lipstick Jungle is a better series (thus far) because at least two of the characters seem more realistic to me. I don’t care about them either, but I also don’t spend as much time rolling my eyes and/or yawning while watching. Since both shows are subpar, though, I don’t expect either to see a second season.

Lipstick Jungle? Oh nonononononono
Someone seriously needs to tell wooden Brooke Shields that it’s Okay to not be an actor. Seriously career women who chase down drag queen and cryto their billionaire boyfriends that tell them they will never be a billionaire. R U serious or do you work to NBC meaning do you receive perks for promoting the show?

I am 110 percent serious. I’m also a grown woman with my own brain capable of forming opinions that I’m entitled to. If other people don’t like it, as they say in the neighborhood where I grew up, tough.
