My Name Is Earl: Third-Season Finale ‘Bad Earl’ (1-10-08)
This writers strike business is brutal. With just thirteen of the twenty-five ordered episodes completed prior to the start of the current catastrophe, My Name Is Earl is calling it quits for the third season after tonight’s “Bad Earl” episode at 8pm EST. How odd that it’s a Christmas episode.
Next week, Earl will go into repeats on Thursday nights at 8pm for the rest of January, accompanied by repeats of The Office at 8:30pm. The only exception is January 24, when two special episodes of Chuck will air. NBC hasn’t scheduled anything in the time slot for February yet, so stay tuned for updates.

Bad Earl
CHRISTMAS OF KARMA
Earl’s (Jason Lee) lifestyle in prison seems to be transitioning to his regular life outside of bars. He’s having a hard time adjusting back to normal life and continues to hold a grudge against karma.
With no job, no home, and no money, Earl decides that his good deeds are not getting him anywhere, so he reverts back to his old bad ways. His path to trouble starts when he sees that Ralph (Guest Star Giovani Ribisi) is living a lavish life after conning an elderly woman.
Randy (Ethan Suplee) can’t handle Earl’s changed lifestyle, so he turns to Joy (Jaime Pressly) and many others to partake in an intervention on Christmas morning. Earl rejects his friends and tries to run from karma, but karma catches up to him in the shape of a car and Billie (Guest Star Alyssa Milano).
The premature third-season finale of My Name Is Earl airs tonight on NBC at 8pm EST.
