Reminder: ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘The Colbert Report’ Return Today

Heads-up, political comedy fans. Comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will be back on the tube, starting tonight at 8pm EST for Stewart and 8:30pm for Colbert.
The first guests scheduled for their writer-less shows are Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama (Illinois) on The Daily Show and Republican presidential candidate Governor Mike Huckabee (Arkansas) plus British author Andrew Keen on The Colbert Report.
It should be really interesting to see how effective the programs are without WGA writers penning the satirical political commentary that viewers have grown so accustomed to. Do you think Stewart and Colbert will be able to wing it all by their lonesome? If the return of the writer-free late-night talk shows on broadcast television last week is any indication, they’ll likely do just fine.
