‘Pushing Daisies’ Midseason Finale: Corpsicle
Woops! My bad, Canadian Daisies fans. What with all of the fall finales and schedule changes during the current writers strike, I plumb forgot that everyone’s favorite Technicolor show airs a day early on the other side of the border.
Even if you’ve already seen the next installment “Corpsicle,” though, the fact remains that it happens to be the series’ midseason finale. This means no more new Daisies until 2008 … that is, if the writers strike ends in time for more episodes to get produced before the end of the 2007–2008 season, an outcome that is in no way guaranteed given recent developments.
Despite the bad news, fans can still look forward to the return of Paul Reubens (The Pee-wee Herman Show), who reprises his role as Oscar Vibenius, first introduced in the November episode “Smell of Success.”
