Next on ‘30 Rock’: Secrets and Lies
Like politics? Well, 30 Rock’s got your number tonight, baby. Prominent political consultant James Carville makes a cameo in the next installment, I presume as an adjunct to the Jack/C.C., Alec Baldwin/Edie Falco, Republican/Democrat, political opponents, opposites attract romance angle. Staunch Democrat Carville is married to ardent Republican Mary Matalin in real life, which adds extra depth to the episode for those who care.
Secrets and Lies
C.C. (Guest Star Edie Falco) wants to go public with her relationship with Jack (Alec Baldwin), but Jack is still very reluctant.
Meanwhile, Liz (Tina Fey) continues to appease both Tracy (Tracy Morgan) and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) as stars of TGS with Tracy Jordan. To pacify Tracy, Liz fakes a satellite transmission to accept an award from the Pacific Rim Emmys, and it infuriates Jane. She goes diva on Liz by being late to rehearsals and hiring two personal assistants. Liz quells Janes temper by pulling a few tricks to make her feel special as well.
30 Rock airs Thursdays on NBC at 8:30pm EST.
