After helping the Warden (Guest Star Craig T. Nelson) out with numerous tasks, Earl has discovered that his sentence has been deducted to six months left in jail. However, the Warden is now faced with a major dilemma and needs Earl’s help. He promises Earl six months off his sentence if he will help him start a program that will mediate a situation between an inmate and their victim.
Earl decides on an inmate who was in for running a meth lab that eventually burned his parent’s house down. The inmate agreed to comply if Earl would throw a prison prom because he missed his in high school. Earl turns to Joy (Jaime Pressly) to help plan the prom and soon discovers it will cost him the rest of the money he had left from his lottery winnings.
Will Earl solve the problem and earn his freedom?

TRACY AND JACK TAKE ON A LITTLE LEAGUE TEAM
As part of his community service, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) takes on the duties of coaching an inner city little league team from Knuckle Beach, the worst neighborhood in New York. Jack (Alec Baldwin) has a special interest in the team and wants to turn these underprivileged kids into winners. He showers them with gifts of a new scoreboard, backstop, a fresh pitcher’s mound and tuxedo uniforms, only to have the plan backfire with protests and uprising. To make matters worse, Jack fires Tracy as coach and hires Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) as the new team leader.
Back in the writer’s room, Jamie (Guest star Val Emmich) the new young, hot coffee boy asks Liz (Tina Fey) out on a date to a gallery opening. There’s a 17-year age difference between the two, but Jamie thinks Liz is only 29. Jack and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) urge Liz to go on the date and embrace the age difference. But Liz is not so sure about her new boy toy.

THE SACRED HEART STAFF TRIES TO HOLD ON TO THE CHILD INSIDE EACH OF THEM
J.D. (Zach Braff) decides that it’s time to stop acting like a baby so he can take care of one, but when he stops participating in pranks Turk (Donald Faison) starts a mission to bring his buddy back to immaturity.
While J.D. tries to play the adult, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley), much to Carla’s (Judy Reyes) protest, feels the need to deliver sobering news that causes a young patient to grow up too fast.
Elsewhere, Eliot (Sarah Chalke) is on a mission to throw Kelso (Ken Jenkins) a birthday party, but little does she know that revealing his true age will set in motion some big changes for Sacred Heart.
