Comedy Talk: Rebecca Romijn Tackles Jimmy Kimmel

Ugly Betty’s Rebecca Romijn was just on the Late Show with David Letterman two weeks ago, and now she’s ready to take on the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live, a man who recently earned himself a spot in the record books after traveling a head-spinning 26,620 miles between the East and West coasts last week as a result of simultaneously hosting his own show in California and filling in for Regis Philbin on Live With Regis and Kelly in New York. [Was that sentence long enough for ya? Sorry…]

Kimmel’s official Guinness World Record feat is for the “Farthest Distance Traveled in One Work Week.” So, he and Romijn should have—drumroll, please—miles and miles of things to talk about. Bonus: Inside the Actors’ Studio host James Lipton is scheduled, too. Hopefully, he’ll share a few colorful stories about his old pimp daddy days in France because one can never get enough of those when it comes to the driest dude on TV, of course.

Elsewhere, The Office’s Steve Carell is making yet another chat show appearance, presumably to help keep pushing his latest film, the romantic comedy Dan in Real Life, which opened last Friday and promptly got pummeled by slashfest Saw IV (the slasher flick, also premiering, raked in almost three times the weekend gross box office of its lighter competition, just to give you an idea of how merciless the carnage was). Catch Carell doing his thing on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to provide a boost to your weekly Michael Scott fix.
