Fox Sitcoms Preempted Tonight by Major League Baseball

by Chandra on October 24th, 2007

Patricia Heaton and Kelsey Grammer/Back to You
Comedy fans, take note. Tonight’s installments of the Fox sitcoms Back to You and ‘Til Death will be preempted by the network’s coverage of the 2007 World Series opening game between the Boston Red Sox and the Colorado Rockies, held live at Boston’s Fenway Park just a short trip from where I live. I’m from New York, though, so I’ve no interest in any World Series that doesn’t include my beloved Mets (don’t laugh—once a fan, always a fan).

Both Back to You and ‘Til Death are currently scheduled to return next week on October 31 with repeats of this fall’s premieres (“Pilot” and “Performance Anxiety,” respectively), while new episodes will resume the following Wednesday on November 7. Until then, I guess you can use the free time to catch up on all the other shows that you’ve fallen behind on, as I will.
