Comedy Talk: ‘Pushing Daisies’ Is Pushing Appearances

The cast members of ABC’s Pushing Daisies are really ramping up the talk-show appearances in anticipation of Wednesday night’s highly touted premiere.
Star Lee Pace will be visiting the ladies of The View tomorrow morning, while his colleague Kristin Chenoweth will face Jay Leno on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno at 11:35pm EST tonight, along with My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee.
Over on CBS, another Pushing Daisies player, the one and only Chi McBride, will take on the host of The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson at 12:37am late tonight/early tomorrow.
Also gearing up for a Wednesday-night premiere is Sarah Silverman, whose nothing-if-not-creative half-hour series The Sarah Silverman Program launches its second season over on Comedy Central. Silverman will not only join Pace on The View Wednesday morning, but she’ll be on hand to spar with my main late-night man David Letterman on the Late Show With David Letterman at 11:35pm tonight. Knock ‘em dead, Sarah, or at least offend the hell out of ‘em like you’re wont to do.
